Anne Crowley established Red Kite in 1995. She is currently a research associate in the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University having been awarded a PhD in 2012.
Anne is experienced in undertaking qualitative research with children, young people and families as well with professionals from a range of agencies including social services, youth work, education and health. Anne has a wealth of consultancy experience working with the Council of Europe and multi- stakeholder groups to develop a number of draft recommendations – one on children and young people’s participation, another on young people’s access to rights.
Anne is a qualified social worker and has worked in a variety of settings across a range of local authority services for children and young people, the probation service and the voluntary sector. Other relevant positions include:
